This policy explains how Ben Saiten (the "Service") collects, uses, and shares information when founders, investors, and administrators use the Service through WhatsApp or its web applications.

Information we collect

• Account and contact information, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and account roles.
• WhatsApp messages, message metadata, documents, and other content sent to the Service.
• Founder and company information, including fundraising details, preferences, and pitch decks.
• Investor and relationship information, including investment preferences, CRM notes, and connection history.
• Technical and usage information used to operate, secure, audit, and troubleshoot the Service.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide account access, WhatsApp conversations, investor matching, and introduction workflows.
• Extract and organize information from messages and pitch materials.
• Maintain investor and founder profiles and relationship records.
• Monitor performance, prevent misuse, investigate failures, and improve service quality.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

AI processing

The Service uses artificial intelligence providers, currently including Anthropic, to interpret user requests, extract structured information, analyze pitch materials, enrich investor records, and prepare responses. Content relevant to these tasks may be sent to those providers for processing.

How information is shared

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, fulfill a user-directed introduction or matching workflow, comply with law, or protect the Service and its users. Service providers may include Meta and WhatsApp, Anthropic, Netlify, Neon, and providers used for email or payment processing. We do not sell personal information. Private investor contact details and notes are not disclosed to founders unless an authorized user directs or approves that disclosure.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while it is needed to provide the Service, maintain business and audit records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information by following our data deletion instructions. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or legitimate recordkeeping.

Security and international processing

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. The Service and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
